Whaddapak

in the spirit of balderdash, i'll write something substantial (wait, what does that word mean?)

i'm so rich, ugly and have a penchant for anything pink. And what's more, I ain't sarcastic.

Is there anyone who still go to this site? Um, besides Irish? Hello, is there anyone here?

hemingway, i 'll just plug this site for those of you who love pounding themselves with a hammer or something adventurous to do.

Remember: Breastmilk is still best for babies

J. Pagunaling's Kartunista Fee - 30.00
Rodel Soniel's Kartunista Fee - 30.00
Rosanne's Buddy Fee - 300.00
Steph's Buddy Fee - 200.00
Total - P 3240.00

Eto naman laman ng Cash Disbursements Journal ko, i.e., ang perang nalabas ko from the day I started handling the org's money.

Eto palang naman...

Supplies (si Glenn ang humawak.) - P 200.00
Total - P 200.00

Ok people?

Don't worry. Next sem mas aayusin ko na ang cash management ng org: Books of Account, Ledgers, Worksheets, Balance Sheets, and Post-Closing Trial Balances.

Rereviewhin ko pa mga accounting procedures I learned in high school for the benefit of the org. Naks!

Hehehe.

for effect, si Paul...

STOP KILLING JOURNALISTS!

The National Union of Journalists of the Philippines, along with other media groups will hold a picket against journalist killings at Camp Crame on Monday, Aug. 16.

Assembly will be at 9 a.m. at the Soliven Tower, near the MRT Station in Santolan.

UJP-UP shares this stand.

Magkita-kita tayo doon.

Sulong UJP!

jerry, ok yung sapatos artik a. magandang gawan ng layout yun, yung
may sapatos na design or drawing.

jerry, yung purpose driven life? asan na? mas maganda siguro kung
mala-book review yung artik mo kung bakit marami nagbabasa nung book
na yun. (sajestion lang) :)

kate, may picture ka ni NOynoy for the personality profile?

irish, wala ba talagang byline yung poem mo? sana meron, kahit code
name lang. wala lang..

Serious mode muna.

Regarding the Tambuli articles, again, the deadline is on the 30th of
July 2004.

######

the uploaded pix, medyo disorganized. Pictures were posted kahit saan
na lang. Please use the designated folders next time (whether for
pictures, announcements, articles, other files, etc.)

About dun sa mga baby pix, Kate created a folder for the sigsheet
photos to foster systematic-ness (may word bang ganito?), but only a
few used it.

Kate for the sigsheet pictures. Glen, on the other hand, is
commendable for making an effort to organize a new folder for the
pictures.

######

Do not be misleading with your file titles; be direct and concise as
possible as you can when typing them, especially for important ones.
Straightforwardness in deciding file names is imperative.
######

Tambuli artiks, post `em in the folder "UJP04-05" na may sub name
na "disisais." Pag-open mo non, may makikita kang several other
folders. Isa sa mga maraming folders na yon ay "for the tambuli" na
may sub name na "articles go here." Dun nyo i-upload ang inyong mga
artiks, literary (indicate if poem or not) man or straight
investigaive/feature articles.

Again, the folders to follow (for tambuli artiks):
1. UJP04-05 - disisais
2. for the tambuli – articles go here

Just follow the folders made by Kate. They lead. They're not that
intriKate to follow.

######
Let us try our best to not complicate the uncomplicated.

Thank you.

nagiging O.C. na naman ako. i hate it. >:

email from Ang Pamantasan's former editor-in-chief, Ma. Cecilia Villarosa

In behalf of the Ang Pamantasan Student Publication, I would like to extend our deep gratitude for your support in our struggle.

In the midst of our arduous plight, it is such a good thing to know that there are many people and organization behind our back.

Your words of support had indeed harbored greater defiance on our part to pursue this fight.

Good news: By the virtue of a court agreement during our first hearing last June 30, the suspended students, who filed a case before the Manila-RTC, have just started attending their classes since July 1.

However, the harassment still prevails. Following the June 21 mobilization, AP sympathizers were subjected to harassment as fabricated administrative cases have been filed against them. The administration also scheduled a bogus AP examination set on July 24.

Black propaganda materials against the publication have been massively distributed within the campus. The published AP newspaper, containing our responses on the allegations imputed by the administration, has been confiscated.

Our next hearing is scheduled on July 23 and July 30. Hope you could attend. We are again conducting a mobilization on July 22, Thursday, at the Manila City Hall to urge the city officials to act on our struggle immediately. On the dame day, a vigil will follow by 5pm infront of the PLM gate.

Again, thank you very much for your support and for sharing the same advocacy.

Kudos!

---Cecil Villarosa

ikinagagalak namin kayong maging kapanig.

uphold campus press freedom! =)
